Polygreen strengthens its management team with new executives

 

*Haris Markaki, Customer Experience Director and Kostas Georgakopoulos, Business Development Manager join Polygreen's management team

Athens, January 13, 2022 - Two new experienced executives have joined Polygreen, a leading company in the field of circular economy and environmental protection worldwide, further bolstering the management team that was formed last year. With the new team, the company aims to further develop its high-quality services and accelerate the implementation of its business plan.

Haris Markaki joined Polygreen as Customer Experience Director, having served for over 25 years as a manager in marketing departments in the financial sector. Haris Markaki has a long established experience in the field of improving customer experience and meeting their contemporary needs, an area that is a priority for Polygreen.

Meanwhile, the role of Business Development Manager has been assigned to Kostas Georgakopoulos, an executive with 15 years’ experience in the commercial departments of large Greek companies active in the recycling and waste management. From his new role, Mr. Georgakopoulos will contribute to the company's business growth on a national and international level.

Athanasios Polychronopoulos, an entrepreneur with a longstanding career in the environmental sector, remains the Founder and CEO of Polygreen, while Lavrentis Alvertis, an executive with vase experience in numerous organizations, has been appointed CEO of the company in July 2021.

The new management structure of Polygreen, combined with its specialised expertise, further reinforces its competitive position in Greece and abroad in the field of providing innovative circular economy and waste management solutions. Polygreen's main platform in Greece is Just Go Zero, the first circular economy "movement" launched in 2021, which has already recorded significant partnerships with businesses and local communities, aiming at the transition to a waste-free world.
